gnumeric regression with coda

For a long time I have been using gnumeric with data in excel format. I
have upgraded pkgsrc to head, and am finding that while gnumeric works
fine with new spreadsheets, I get error messages (below) and cannot
enter values in cells. The file is stored in coda, and moving it to ffs
seems to avoid the assertions mostly, at least the IS_SHEET ones. I
suspect coda mmap may not work quite right, but the spreadsheet and
graphs display fine. (I do know that 'pwd' is broken in coda, due to
some hacky linux-world assumptions that don't hold.)

Is anyone else seeing this?
