hald on NetBSD/i386 -- how?

Hi,

what is necessary for running hald (from 2008Q4) on NetBSD/i386 5.0 RC3? I have:

hal-info-20081022nb1 FreeDesktop hardware abstraction layer (info subpackage)
hal-0.5.11nb23      FreeDesktop hardware abstraction layer
dbus-1.2.4.2nb2     Message bus system
dbus-qt3-0.70       D-BUS Qt bindings
dbus-glib-0.76      GLib bindings for the D-BUS message bus system
policykit-0.9nb3    Framework for managing admin policies and privileges

but hald stops with the following error messages:
