Hi everyone.
I just barely re-installed my system. I use an i386 laptop with netbsd 3.1 and pkgsrc 2007Q2. So everything should be clean. I installed opera from pre-compiled binary packages at ftp.pkgsrc.org. It worked fine a couple of times, but it stopped and it gave me the following error :
$ opera
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libjvm.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libawt.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
/usr/lib/opera/9.21-20070510.1/opera: /usr/lib/libpthread.so.0: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/opera/9.21-20070510.1/opera)
/usr/lib/opera/9.21-20070510.1/opera: /usr/lib/libpthread.so.0: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/opera/9.21-20070510.1/opera)
/usr/lib/opera/9.21-20070510.1/opera: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libpthread.so.0: undefined symbol: __isthreaded
from a mail in the list ( netbsd-help, 12/05/2006 ), I've done what was suggested by C. zoulas.
# ln -s /emul/linux/lib/libpthread* /emul/linux/usr/lib/
It gives me an error :
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libjvm.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libawt.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
But it works.
Any idea why ?
Cheers,
David
