true...there are at least some problems with Solaris sh. However most of
the time we just use "sh" for the shell which causes the Solaris user to
fix all the "sh" manually. Wouldn't it be good to test the OS
environment in the bootstrap of pkgsrc?

mk/bulk/do-sandbox-build

is another example.
