I am trying to build Subversion (devel/subversion-base/) from pkgsrc
2007Q1 branch on NetBSD/macppc.  The build stops with this:

/home/dyoung/pkgobj/wrkobjdir/devel/subversion-base/work/subversion-1.4.3/subversion/libsvn_subr/.libs/libsvn_subr-1.so.0: Unsupported relocation type 6 in non-PLT relocations

Same thing happened with 2006Q4.  Build output for 2007Q1 is at
<ftp://cuw.ojctech.com/users/pkgsrc-b0770b87/make-update-3>.

I had tried with 2006Q4 to add CFLAGS+=-fPIC to
devel/subversion/Makefile.common, but that didn't help.  What should I
try, next?
