Re: Switching to modular X11

I've got a NetBSD 4.0_BETA2 machine that I would like to switch from

I obviously need to set "X11_TYPE" to "modular" and remove the Xorg
packages. But how do I get a "standard X11 installtion" with the
modular X11 packages. I can't see a meta package for that in "pkgsrc".

AFAIK joerg is still adding meta-pkgs, I currently install:

            fonts/encodings
            meta-pkgs/modular-xorg-drivers
            meta-pkgs/modular-xorg-fonts
            security/ssh-askpass
            wm/jwm
            x11/iceauth
            x11/modular-xorg-server
            x11/xauth
            x11/xdpyinfo
            x11/xinit
            x11/xload
            x11/xrdb
            x11/xset
            x11/xsetroot
            x11/xterm

If you want xdm you'll need to use

            wip/xdm
            wip/xsm

Or you can go with kdm/gdm or X startup of choice...
