Where is any of this documented?  The more I try to create packages, the
more I run up against undocumented magic.  Even as a user, this occurs --
I have to have MKTTINTERP=yes for one package, SUSE_PREFER=10.0 for
another, PYTHON_VERSION_DEFAULT=24, etc.
