The AS1041M-82 and AS1041M-T2 do look interesting,
but I had just heard newer supermicros (not sure
which) where failing (under warranty) at a pretty
high rate, so I kinda stopped considering them.

We already have NetBSD compatibility issues on a
blade assembly... any NetBSD friendly vendors feel
free to contact me off list, we have continual
floating point processing requirements for something
like 32 cores. relatively low disk, nfs and network
I/O. Opteron "HE" series (low power) is required.
