firefox-linux segfaults (pkgsrc-current on i386/current)

I have read the mailing list traffic about this and the PRs, but I do
not think that this is an issue with fonts (for me), as it does not
work with XFree86, either.

Has anyone had any experience dealing with this?  Some of the posts
about this are, if I recall, over a year old, so I surmise someone
knows something. ;)
