Decent text-based newsreader.. (was Re: Compiling libkver in current)

And that's not the first time I've seen this. I currently read these mailing-
lists using gmane and slrn, and slrn just can't handle base64 articles. 

Is anyone aware of a newsreader that *does* do base64 encoding, while still
being console-based?
