Only for my own convenience.  I was unaware this was verboten and
removed it.

There are of course plenty of available options for hosting code these days, with many supported directly in pkgsrc (e.g. GitHub), but even if you don't want to use those services for whatever reason, there is always the simple option of uploading a tarball of your sources to LOCAL_PORTS and using that, like the recently imported misc/sleepto.
