I would care quite a bit less if it wasn't OBVIOUSLY broken. Seriously.
Doing vendor imports is not hard and yes, there is an actual
documentation for it. Why do I care? Because I have to spend my time on
the cleanup and it is not a one time cost either. Thanks to multiple
parties, libarchive and bmake are both a mess, making any maintainance
in them an order of magnitude harder for no good reason.
