Most likely because with the NetBSD built in gettext (from current
earlier this year, but after 8.0 ... and so in 8.0 as well, and earlier
I would assume) gettext issues a usage message as called from
(the new) blackbox70 and the package does not build.   With the
pkgsrc version, it works.

Best would be to detect whether the base system gettext is adequate,
but given that it does not take long to build, and is just a build tool, so
it can be deleted again after if not wanted, simply always using the
pkgsrc version seems OK to me.
