github "releases" are often just tarballs of the repository (missing
some generated files that make it easier to package stuff).

Also, when a package is pulled in automatically (by python, outside
pkgsrc), it'll always fetch the pypi version.

Just two reasons I prefer to take the pypi one if there is one.
