} on BSD but not on strict POSIX implementations, leading to failures when

     Better yet would be to convert all the chowning/chmoding to use
SPECIAL_PERMS.  BTW, these should be marked PKG_DESTDIR_SUPPORT=destdir,
as chowning/chmoding isn't compatible with the default.
