On the plus side, this no longer either fails to compile or crashes
during build. On the minus side, there's an enormous plist divergence:

It doesn't look like the problem is that something failed to compile
and then the build failed to stop. (But I'm not sure; the build log is
monumentally huge.) It looks more like some of the generated files
depend on compiler features which vary with the architecture.

Could you look into it?
