I thought the message file was optional, that ECHO_MSG was equivalent.
Also, I thought arts had been removed from SDL some time back, but I guess I was thinking of something else. But in any event, isn't this then a general issue for all SDL programs used in conjunction with arts?
Probably, but I don't have much experience with SDL. I just know that I got misleading error messages, one of which required GDB to understand the problem so I thought a message would help to avoid what I went though.
