Hm - this is a one-time workaround, right? If something like this happened
again, the commonly used ${PKGNAME_NOREV} would be a bad choice.

 I don't know whether the previous distfile was a botch from upstream, or a
bad choice by the package updater - I guess 'chmod 0'ed files and
directories are accessible by root, but not in a destdir build.
