actually i've built over 700 packages with bernd's patch.  aka,
everything i care about.  i don't maintain pkgsrc or x11-links,
i have never considered it "my job" to deal with pkgsrc with xsrc
is updated.  infact, i've been shipping X11 with netbsd since
before pkgsrc existed.
