With 1.3.10 cups stopped providing its own copy of the pdftops from xpdf 
(which it kept having to make the same security patches to) and instead 
made its pdftops a wrapper that dealt with the arguments in the form that 
it expected and then called a real pdftops or gs to do the conversion.
