Hmm - something is inconsistent here. This should be buildlinked.
Perhaps the freetype2 installation of your system doesn't match
the file lists in pkgtools/x11-links...

It might be that your freetype2 is just too old.
Does "USE_BUILTIN.freetype2=no" help?
