As long as you're working on octave-forge, do you think you can kill the
dependency on gnu-coreutils (for csplit) from the gsl stuff?
coreutils conflicts with a heck of a lot of other stuff, just to get a
build-time depend on one utility which is used for a fairly
straightforward task...
