this may be a workable solution, but I'd prefer that mailwrapper was
optional, not mandatory...

I agree, but there is no legitimate reason for pkgsrc to knowingly
allow overwriting existing files owned by another package, so I added
the CONFLICTS.

I am going to look at packaging mailwrapper to address this. using
pkgviews is another possible solution.
