I did not know there was a problem.  Certainly db4.2 has no
problems on Mac OS X or Linux-powerpc.

And subversion and apache aren't?  There is only so much we can
do for older architectures...

Do you object to my proposal on tech-pkg?  I will be committing
that change Friday, to give people time to comment on it.

This is not sufficient, for reasons we have discussed on
tech-pkg.

Not only is it nasty, but i doubt it would work.  If Apache is
linked to a different apr than Subversion, i think it would crash
when trying to load mod_dav_svn.

As i said, i didn't realize it was a problem.  DB 4.2 is not
broken on powerpc generally, only(?) on NetBSD.
