Yes. What the package currently does is copying some files over from
OpenSSL's source tree.

I know this is not pretty, but Just Works right now. I doubt changing the
current behaviour will be trivial, thus a freeze is not the right time to
do it anyway.

Well, it could also be investigated how one's supposed to make this work
on other systems.
