That's it's predominant use, certainly. I seem to remember placing it in
"misc" because it doesn't actually make or utilize archives, but rather
parity files, and in fact the parity files could be generated for things
that aren't even archives, such as disk images, even "avi"'s and "jpeg"'s,
for example.
