That's just plain *wrong*.  If shared library interdependencies aren't
working properly, then analyze the problem first--don't hack around like
this.  This is a trashy workaround for a problem that no one's bothering to
understand.

I'm inferring from your notes that you added the bogosity; if so, please
revert the appropriate changes to imap-uw so that it builds in a standard
way.  If you have to do so, disable php4-imap until we can find out why it
isn't running properly.
