yep. I've looked into it but on my machine it creates a directory called 
../build/netbsd2/. I've tried to change the stuff in the blender package 
but to no avail; it keeps on creating the ../build/netbsd2 dir. Looks like 
its scons that has hardcoded the path? I'll try to dig into it again this 
week.

Have build it on netbsd-2.0 and -current but not on 1.6.2; i have no 
machine's running that version anymore. Might be a good idea for me to 
expiriment with vmware ;)
