If it's important enough :) And, of course, tested.
Usually only security fixes and build fixes for major packages
or platforms will be pulled up, but if the releng team has time
and the change does not negatively affect other platforms/packages,
then it will probably be pulled up.

Sure. Send the commit message(s) to pullup-pkgsrc.
