 Hi,
 
 with the patch introduced in December the build on powerpc-linux with 
 pkgsrc is broken. The same error appears as with Darwin before the 
 patch. After backing out patch-ad the build runs smooth.
 
 Please re-open the PR and work for a better solution.
 
 uname -a
 security/cyrus-saslauthd doesn't build on Darwin
 
 Bootstrapped with pkgsrc as of beginning of Februar.
 
 cyrus-saslauthd works without the patch-ad file (introduced for the 
 darwin build)
