Would it be wise/recommended to delete the 'd' partition of a used
disk before I run 'disklabel' on it?

Example:
Someone gives me a 80GB drive from their Windows machine. I want to
add that to my existing NetBSD machine. First I use 'fdisk -u' and set
the partition sysid to 169. Then I use '# dd if=/dev/zero
of=/dev/rwd0d bs=8k'. After that I use disklabel to setup the
partitions I want.

Does that sound about right?

thanks
