You need to tell us a bit more details: what version of NetBSD are
you using, what kind of mouse (how is it connected - PS/2 connector,
USB, or anything else?). What kind of machine are you using - i386 PC?

Can you check the output of "dmesg" at this point? Does it mention anything
about the mouse? Does unplugging and repluging the mouse fix the problem?
Does just returning to X (via ctrl-alt-F5) fix it?
