I'm on a 3.99.20 kernel & userland, with uplcom.c rev. 1.44 and when
using the
Prolific PL-2303 with minicom(1) I can receive data but  cannot send
anything.
(i.e. I can reach the prompt of the remote machine but I cannot login)
