Yes, Pc is 9600.  Had I used a more "standard" speed I wouldn't have had the
problem I did.  Typically I use 9600 but on this console server the systems
are all 115200 so I wanted to abide.  After routing around through other
systems it is clear that I'd only done 9600 before which explains how I
struggled with the details.  Specifically:

console "/usr/libexec/getty std.115200" vt220   on secure
