Yes, I do have write permissions on the aforementioned directory called
temp.

bash-3.00$ ls -l
total 56
drwxr-xr-x 2 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:08 CVS
drwxr-xr-x 3 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:08 bin
-rw-r--r-- 1 legv users 7455 May 16 22:24 build.xml
drwxr-xr-x 3 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:08 dist
drwxr-xr-x 3 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:08 docs
drwxr-xr-x 3 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:08 languages
drwxr-xr-x 3 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:09 lib
drwxr-xr-x 7 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:09 pl
drwxr-xr-x 3 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:10 properties
drwxr-xr-x 4 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:10 src
drwx------ 11 legv users 512 Jun 22 13:43 temp

That's what I get on the project root. What I think is weird'est in this
matter is that some directories are being created with the user id and
group id bits set. This is strange, ain't it? Could it be a
malfunctioning (I mean, bugged to death) partition?
