 well... why people run NetBSD on dreamcasts, PS2, toasters, ...

 the ideas are :
- fun : do it your self with your preferred OS
- have the box do supplementary multimedia things (freevo & plugins)
- have the box do other things too (seti@HOME, DNS, ...)
