Surprisingly, "lpc start lp" did the trick. "Surprisingly" - because
I didn't block lpd daemon "by hand". Now lpd seem to work quite normal.

1. Is it blocked "by default" in freshly installed NetBSD systems?
2. What exactly did "lpc" write after such incantation - and where?
3. I understand, there doesn't exists anything like /dev/ulpa0 - and it
   cannot (or shouldn't) be created?
