Ok... it seemed at least, later on it completely lost network
connectivity during the set installation. After trying again it paniced
with a page fault trap, a third time it wasn't able to mount one of
the freshly written BSD partitions.

A further attempt ended up in some "bad file descriptor" errors.

Probably it's due to faulty RAM as I was also seing hyroglyphics
already ...

As memtest86 has an iso of about 1.8 MB in size (at least v3.2) and
I cannot boot using the CD-ROM drive for some reason (using whatever
OS) I'm searching some smaller counterpart of it.

Does someone can recommend sth?

Thanks.
