What serial driver and operating system version are using? There is bug in
com(4) in NetBSD 1.6, 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 which can cause it the driver to
get stuck. The bug has been fixed in NetBSD-current and the 1.6 and
2.0 branch a while ago. See PR kern/25010 for details.
