I run ices-0.2.3 from pkgsrc WIP which works fine. Hade some problems with
icecast though but it works ok.

I thought I'd try ices2 to see if my ogg vorbis libraries were 
installed correctly, even though I also am unwilling to reencode any 
CDs.

I didn't get any pthread errors from either ices, but I *did* get 
pthread errors among others with MuSE.

The MuSE author did just email me and mention that there *is* a FreeBSD 
port that had been tweeked to run and might be a better starting point. 
  I'm going to give that a look, I was using their generic sources.

Sorry, if there is a way to get darkice etc to stream MP3 files, I 
missed it, I thought those were for live audio only.  I'll check again.

I'm not too concerned about a GUI, really, I'd just like to see how it 
sounded (if it's worth listening to) then go from there.
