Last week, I purchased a Nikon 5700. Before seeing Steve's messages,
I had tried using mplayer to view a Quicktime movie generated by the
camera. I couldn't find any combination of options which would keep
the video and audio in sync (the video runs very fast initially, and
it never lines up with the audio). Giving mplayer the -nosound option
results in good, smooth video. I'm using mplayer-0.90nb7 on an IBM
T20 (2647-WGU), running 1.6.1_STABLE.

Steve, do you have video and audio in sync? If so, what options are
you using?
