If you can boot NetBSD, install the boot selector mbr :

# fdisk -B -c /usr/mdec/mbr_bootsel wd0

Then at boot you'll be able to select the next boot step with F1-F4 to
boot primary partitions on wd0, and F5 to boot wd1.
