I have a Brother HL-1650 and I can recommend it.

- Postscript 3 (Brotherscript, their own PS Implementation)
- PCL6 + some more emulations
- Parallel+USB Ports
- Duplex printing
- 8MB RAM
- Price around $ 500

The only caveat is: you will have to get additional Memory, at least
if you want to print duplex.
