I run proftpd as my ftp server program on my web server.
You can ftp in as any user-name , any password !
I am totally stunned !
Telnet , however is fine . you need the correct user name and password.
Please go into what all needs to be done after installing proftpd software ,
so that you can have an FTP server program running . Is there anything critical I missed ?
