So after my ordeal with pkg_chk -u (I killed it after I saw it was
going to rebuild koffice a third time), I tried bsdpak and as a
prerequisite, I am making the INDEX file in /usr/pkgsrc. It seems
to go very slowly . . . like half an hour per pkg??

My CPU is pegged (granted it's *only* a 500 MHZ Piii), and I can't
figure out what's taking all that effort. What other tools are
there to ensure pkg sanity?
