I don't think it is abuse if you had worded it different.

Anyways, you can troubleshoot DNS easily yourself:

1) Use whois to find the authoritative nameservers.

 md-whois kittenz.org # returns two nameservers

2) Then use dig(1) to test both nameservers (using "@").

It appears that one nameserver works to give the A record. And one name
server appears to be down at this time.
