I just received a message from Perry (I'm using the Wasabi CD), who
says that the bootstrap understands how to use a serial console but
the install kernel on the same CD does not. I may need to do a kernel
rebuild.

Thank you! Once I've booted from these floppies, can I continue installing
from the CD? Or will I lose the serial console again after I install
and reboot?

I also may hit an additional roadblock: Apparently, FreeBSD and OpenBSD
do not support the Promise Ultra100 TX2 EIDE card I've just installed
and can't use disks attached to it. I'm not sure what NetBSD-1.5.2 will
do (or not) with this interface. Does anyone know offhand if it's supported?
