Hi all ... I'm wanting to somehow mark bad sectors on a drive and have
the filesystem skip around them ... newfs doesn't appear to have any
capability for testing a filesystem when it creates it ... how do I
do this?

At the moment I'm filling the drive with 128M null files and detecting
where the dud sectors are when the kernel gives SCSI errors. I'll then
move the files that had problems elsewhere, but there has to be a better
way than that, surely.
