Over the last few days I've been having problems with cron stopping
occasionally.
The last things it does before hanging:
22275 cron RET nanosleep 0
22275 cron CALL gettimeofday(0xbfbfdb8c,0)
22275 cron RET gettimeofday 0
22275 cron CALL __stat13(0x804cd56,0xbfbfdb40)
22275 cron NAMI "tabs"
22275 cron RET __stat13 0
22275 cron CALL __stat13(0x804cd6c,0xbfbfdae0)
22275 cron NAMI "/etc/crontab"
22275 cron RET __stat13 -1 errno 2 No such file or directory
22275 cron CALL gettimeofday(0xbfbfdb8c,0)
22275 cron RET gettimeofday 0
22275 cron CALL gettimeofday(0xbfbfdb8c,0)
22275 cron RET gettimeofday 0
22275 cron CALL nanosleep(0xbfbfdb8c,0xbfbfdb84)
This looks like the usual minutely set of calls, but this time nanosleep
fails to return.
This is on a PC running NetBSD 1.5.1.
cron stays in this hung state ~forever - it certainly doesn't resolve
itself within 24 hours.
Has anybody else ever seen this problem?
