Yup - that's all proper.  Also, I have no problem mailing using mail,
mutt, NS Messenger, Balsa, Evolution, kmail...

(On a side-note, I just realize that pine complains the
"enable-background-sending" is undefined in pine?  In the source-dir, I
find that in pine/osdep/o-neb/ BACKGROUND_POST _is_ defined.)
